Who Is Northwest Return to Work?
Northwest Return to Work (NWRTW) opened in Lynnwood, Washington in June 2007, conveniently located just north of Seattle off I-5 and I-405, near the Alderwood Mall.
NWRTW was founded by Josh Cobbley, an occupational therapist. Coming from a poor, blue-collar family, Josh developed a profound appreciation for the sacrifices and hardships faced by working people. This appreciation was deepened during his occupational therapy training. During his training, he gained a better understanding of what occurs when someone’s occupation is interrupted.
The interruption in an occupation caused by an injury on the job can have a profound impact on the worker and their family. From financial loss to the psychosocial burdens that can accompany learning new life roles after an injury.
Josh had a vision of creating a place that focused solely on helping injured workers get back to work and back to life, and in 2007 he made that vision a reality. NWRTW provides superior team-driven services in a genuine spirit of caring to help clients fulfill occupational roles essential to healthy living.
The therapists and support staff at Northwest Return to Work understand the direct and indirect costs associated with lost time and unsettled claims for both the injured worker and the insurer, and all treatment is based entirely on the client’s ability to return to work. NWRTW is now one of the leading providers of comprehensive and objective work-related care in the Pacific Northwest. Comprehensive industrial rehabilitation services include Work Hardening, Work Conditioning, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Pain Management and Chronic Pain Treatment Services, Brain Injury Treatment Services, Chiropractic Care, Work Injury and Occupational Physician Services, and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs).
