“Thanks for all of the help getting me back to work. The whole body approach is awesome. I have learned a lot of new skills to keep me healthy, not only for my shoulder, but my hip and neck too.”

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is a medical rehabilitation practice in which your therapist will assess and diagnose physical and functional impairments, create an individualized treatment plan to address your limitations, and encourage safe physical activity in order to restore your prior level of function before your work injury occurred.
The goal of the Physical Therapy program is to facilitate your return to normal work duties. This is achieved through a combination of treatments your therapist finds appropriate for you such as strengthening, stretching, body mechanic training, manual techniques, and education on your injury.

Physical Therapy might be the right program for you if:

  • You have a recent or chronic bodily injury that impacts your daily life
  • You recently had a surgery
  • You have pain that limits your movement and activities
  • You have a bone, joint, or muscle problem

Program Duration

The duration of this program is 2-3 days per week, with 1 hour per day over a 6 week period. Additional periods of therapy can be authorized depending on the condition of the client. Treatment is administered through 1:1 sessions with a PT.
